We are about to witness three decades of an uncompromising artistic vision condensed into one spectacularly vicious evening of apocalyptic heresy. A blistering live experience that blends unrelenting ferocity, theatrical grandeur and their signature blackened death metal sound as BEHEMOTH perform tracks from their storied discography alongside new material.

Straddling the line between the sacred and profane, Behemoth has risen to become extreme metal’s most revered and provocative band, steeped in anti-authoritarian fire. Renowned for their elaborate live performances, the band continues to push boundaries with their fearless artistry and vision.

“We’re coming to set stages ablaze and leave no soul unscathed,” says indomitable front-man Nergal. “This tour is a celebration of Behemoth’s legacy and a testament to the unbreakable spirit of our fans. Expect chaos, fire, and a ritual like no other.”

The last time Behemoth played in Sydney was in 2023 at the “Good Things” Festival. A Black Metal band should never play during the day, but that’s pretty much unavoidable at a festival here in Australia, because as you know, everything starts very early and most bands play in daylight. That said, Behemoth managed to create a hellish atmosphere with very little smoke and lighting, which immediately put us in the right mindset. The day was sunny, but almost without noticing, a black hole opened up and we were dragged into another dimension where everything was darkness and heavy sounds.

It’s incredible how the band pulled us into the depths despite having everything against them—a blazing sun and playing on one of the smallest stages at the festival. There are only a few days left until they visit us again, and I’m counting the days to enjoy it all over again. This time in a venue, where the experience multiplies a thousand times. So if you still don’t have your ticket, I don’t know what you’re waiting for.
